Municipal assembly in Zumikon says: YES

The private design plan “Dorfplatz 13” developed by UTOREM convinced the voters at yesterday’s municipal assembly in Zumikon. After the presentation by the municipal council and Valentin Müller, the private design plan was approved by a large majority.

The guideline project by Haltmeier Kister Architektur GmbH was developed in close coordination with the village square redevelopment and includes 39 rental apartements as well as a village restaurant with around 70 seats directly on the Zumikon village square. The 2.5- to 4.5-room apartements in the medium price segment all have large, private outdoor spaces and are aimed at all age groups.

Planning for the new replacement building is due to start in the coming months. The move-in date is planned for autumn 2028. Interested parties can find more information about the current project status on the project website dorfplatz13.ch .
