Solar power facility in Niederhasli for AMAG Pensionskasse

Solar power has been produced at Adlibogenstrasse 31-45 in Niederhasli since January 2022. The potential of the solar power facility was analysed by Energie Zukunft Schweiz. This was undertaken in conjunction with a roof restoration to improve the energy efficiency of the property, which was completed at the end of 2021.

The average expected annual energy output is 120,000 kWh, which means that approx. 10 tonnes of carbon dioxide can be cut each year. The solar power generated can be used to run an electric vehicle for approximately 950,000 km per year, which corresponds to about 24 circumnavigations of the Earth.

The well-coordinated and swiftly implemented project has made a worthwhile contribution to sustainability.
